LOANS
Students may borrow up to three books at a time for a loan period of three weeks. If required, items may usually be renewed. Students may also “reserve” books that have been borrowed by other patrons.
Students with overdue books will be notified and should return their books as soon as possible. Parents are also notified when books are very overdue.
Lost or damaged books will generally need to be paid for so that replacement copies can be purchased, (unless there are exceptional circumstances.)
PHOTOCOPYING AND PRINTING
Students are welcome to photocopy or print in the library. Students are credited $5.00 at the start of each term for these purposes. If the money is not spent, then it accumulates throughout the year. Students can also add more credit if required.
BIBLIOGRAPHIES
Students are required to use the “Harvard” system of Referencing when they are constructing their bibliographies.
Detailed information on Referencing and Footnotes is available on the Library Portal.
Students can also make use of the “Harvard Generator” which is an automated referencing website which simplifies the writing of bibliographies.
